Egg (2023) chalk pastel and conte crayon on black paper
I completely finished this large drawing in white chalk pastel and my spray fixative dulled the pastel until it was nearly invisible. After several minutes of angrily staring at the page and a couple more hours reworking with conte crayon, I was rewarded with this finished piece...and a lesson on tenacity.
